What is hope.................

What hope means

Hope is bright shining light which keeps darkness at bay
Hope is the gentle cold breeze on a hot summer day

Hope is to remain positive when going gets tough
Hope is seeking more when others think you had enough

Hope is dreaming of tomorrow
Hope is simmering under sorrow

Hope is sparkles when tears in our eyes
Hope is a beautiful thing & beautiful things never dies

What hope means

Hope is as light as a feather
Hope keeps all of us together

Hope is ubiquitous and free of cost
hope is the last thing ever lost.....

“45”

Have you seen my hands, just look at ‘em shake.
And the song just keeps on repeating, drop the needle again.
And I dance with your ghost.  But that ain’t the way…
I can’t move on and I can’t stay the same.
And all my friends say…

“Hey, turn the record over.
Hey, I’ll see you on the flip side.
There you go, turn the key and engine over…
Let her go, let somebody else lay at her feet.”

Have you seen my heart, have you seen how it bleeds?
And the nights are so long, baby, out here in the deep.
The tick, ticking of hours lonely… I hear the alarm.
I used to hear when she would sleep in my arms,
But “Better Sense*” says…

 ”Hey, turn the record over.
Hey, I’ll see you on the flip side.
There you go, turn the key and engine over…
Let her go, let somebody else lay at her feet.”

Gaslight Anthem gør det igen

Dumheden lurer og ingen slipper

Der findes ikke nogen værre straf end den at opdage, at men med sine gerninger har ødelagt mulighederne for at blive den, man i virkeligheden gerne vil være.
